Description: This vineyard is 85 years old and has three grape varieties intermixed without any order: garnacha tintorera, alarige and borba. With the last two we made our white wine a + B Cepas Perdias. While with the unique hectare of garnacha tintorera, we elaborate our wine 601 Cepas Perdidas, our only reserva wine. This vineyard is located at 601 m sealevel, hence its name. 3,500 kg of this grape are produced annually and are transformed into 1,700 bottles. This wine is a personal commitment of our Winery Technical Director to elaborate a totally different wine. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentation are made in contact with the skins for 52 days. After this period, the wine rests for at least ten months in our best American or French oak barrels to be bottled, without filtering or clarifying. Once in the bottle, the wine rests a year before it is launched. At the moment you can enjoy it in restaurants
Type of bottle: Special Burgundy
Tasting notes: Dark and deep-red colour. The garnacha tintoreta appears with touch of wood. In the mouth the entry is silky. Very good tannic structure and round mid palate. Very persistent.
Service and food pairing: Open and leave to breathe for one hour and enjoy from 13°C (55°F) to 15°C (59°F). Ideal companion for game, lamb, and entrecote fillet.
